Byron Austin is the founder of Food-Forestry.com, an agroforestry practitioner dedicated to growing thriving food forests and helping people reconnect with the natural world. Over the years, he's transformed landscapes of all sizes—small backyards, degraded farmland, and commercial orchards—while converting his family’s 1.5-hectare citrus orchard into a diverse syntropic agroforestry system. His expertise has been shaped by working alongside leading practitioners in Brazil, Florida, Costa Rica, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Byron has trained hundreds of people through in-person events and built an online community of agroforestry practitioners from around the world (Food Forest Fellowship). This community shares experiences, hosts weekly live calls, trainings, and group consulting sessions, fostering collective learning and growth. His online content has also reached millions via social media.

His mission is to help people reconnect with the Earth by growing food and trees in ways that regenerate the planet. Byron’s practical experiences learning alongside world-class syntropic practitioners sets him apart from traditional permaculture and food forest designers.
